A. Location: The project takes place at Wilkinson Junior High, located at 5025 County Road 218, Middleburg, FL 32068.

B. Description: Fire Alarm System Replacement

1. Demolition: The project includes the demolition of the existing fire alarm system and all associated equipment, wiring, and devices. All existing installations are not necessarily shown in the contract drawings.

2. New Work: The project includes a completely new fire alarm system and sound equipment, with a control panel, terminal boxes, booster power supplies, batteries, devices, wires/cables, conduits, supporting power distribution, fire alarm system testing/certifications/training, and other work required for a complete operable fire alarm system. 1.2 Note that there is a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bidders not attending will not be permitted to submit bids. Refer to Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders.
